Yang Yang & Sophie had collected rubbish from the local Marina playground. This is what we call taking 'social action'. Great work girls. Benji used recycled materials for his robot. Ka pai!

Today we say farewell to Jake as his family move down to Tauranga. We wish him all the best at his new school.

Here is an example of what SOLO Taxonomy looks like when you pose a new outcome. The students placed their names beside the SOLO step they thought they were in relation to what they know about the Water Cycle. This is a great visual way for buddy's to help each other & for me to see who needs help. What you can also see are the next steps students can follow for Reading, Writing and Maths. Also a great way to choose goals for next learning steps too!
